Financial Responsibility - Each player is responsible for fundraising (or direct payment) approximately $150 for uniform, tournament entry fees and team expenses.  Each parent will provide transportation and if necessary lodging expenses for the event.  (Historically, the team has fundraised and this $ has not been an out-of-pocket expense for the family, if contributing to the team fundraising efforts.)

Virginia Little League Division 5 Tournament Dates

Virginia Little League State Tournament Dates

New D5 Division

The Virginia State Little League and District 5 have approved new “district-level” tournaments for our 6/7/8 age group baseball and softball players.  In the past, these ages were eligible for the Machine Pitch Invitational tournaments held at Huguenot LL and Mechanicsville LL at the end of July.  The state is piloting a coach pitch tournament for this age level this year meaning these ages will now play in mid-to-late June with the rest of the District 5 tournaments.  This year in 2024, the tournament will conclude at the Sectional level.  That means the District 5 champion will have the opportunity to play a small two-day tournament likely in early July (details still to come based on other participation within other districts).  The goal is that in 2025 we will have these age levels advance to a state tournament just like the older age divisions.

NOTE:  There is still the possibility of a Machine Pitch tournament at the end of July like in previous year and we are currently unsure of how that will play out.  More information will be shared with those divisions when it becomes available.

·      Baseball Minors 8/9 Year Old @ Atlee LL – July 8th or 9th

·      Baseball Minors 9/10 Year Old @ Ashland LL - July 20

·      Baseball Majors 11/12 @ Tuckahoe LL - August 1
